What is The Role We’re eager to welcome an outstanding Product Manager to join the Elastic Observability product team, with a focus on Infrastructure Observability. With your knowledge and understanding of the Observability domain and expertise in Infrastructure Observability, you'll help ensure that we give our customers the best end to end full stack Observability experience for the infrastructure systems and services we monitor. This role significantly impacts the success of our Observability product! What You Will Be Doing Defining and driving the vision and strategy for Infrastructure Observability, aligning at every step with organizational and company strategy. Identifying gaps in end to end experience, defining and owning the roadmap to fill those gaps. Working closely across teams and across Orgs, collaborating with Engineering, UX, Design and other teams to deliver on your roadmap to bring top notch experiences to our users. Working with our Sales & Marketing teams on go-to-market, messaging, competitive analysis, enablement, and feature adoption. Tracking user engagement and feedback to inform product and feature evolution. What You Bring Ideally 10+ years in product management or closely related area Extensive experience in monitoring cloud and/or infrastructure systems and services powering modern applications Observability and/or performance monitoring domain knowledge Comfort working independently with and converting abstract problems into concrete, prioritized solutions, working from the customer backwards, using AI tools to bring accelerate alignment and outcomes Outstanding spoken and written communication skills Passion for industry trends, competitive landscape Ability to lead and collaborate effectively across multiple organizations and teams Experience working in remote, globally distributed work environment is optional but desired Knowledge of open-source software is optional but desired Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component. The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
